Fish laden pickup vehicle overturned on Highway, driver injured

On Wednesday morning, a pickup vehicle lost control and overturned near Sabana Bridge on the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway. This vehicle was carrying fish from Delhi to Neemrana. Due to the accident, about one quintal of fish loaded in the vehicle were scattered on the road, causing a long jam on the highway.

As soon as the accident was reported, highway patrolling and local police reached the spot. Police immediately started relief and cleaning work. Traffic was made smooth by removing the fish spread on the road. Due to the accident, there were long queues of vehicles on both sides for about 30 minutes, causing inconvenience to the passengers.

According to eyewitnesses, the pickup driver lost balance of the vehicle, due to which this accident happened. The driver has suffered minor injuries, while the vehicle was badly damaged.

The value of the fish loaded in the pickup was about three lakh rupees. Most of the fish were destroyed in the accident, causing a huge loss to the trader. Police said that the vehicle has been removed with the help of a crane and placed on the side of the road. The matter is being investigated.
