Haryana CM Saini Says Freight Rail Connectivity Will Boost Economic Growth, Make Nangal Chaudhary Logistics Hub

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday said the inauguration of rail connectivity to the Integrated Multi-Modal Logistics Hub in Nangal Chaudhary, Mahendragarh district, would give a major boost to the state’s economic growth and industrial development.

After inaugurating the rail connectivity, Saini said the event was not merely about flagging off a freight train but about giving a “green signal” to a new phase of economic momentum in Haryana.

Haryana eyes major logistics and industrial hub

Interacting with industrialists, the Chief Minister said Haryana would no longer remain only a producer of goods but would emerge as a major hub for connecting its products efficiently with domestic and global markets.

He said the Integrated Multi-Modal Logistics Hub would become a significant milestone in the state’s development and credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance and monitoring for the progress of the project.

Saini also acknowledged former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for laying the foundation of the ambitious project.

He said the logistics hub would contribute to the national vision of building a ‘Viksit Bharat by 2047’.

    Project spread across 886 acres

The Chief Minister said the project is being developed in two phases across 886 acres, with the first phase covering 408 acres already completed.

The modern logistics hub has been equipped with systems for freight movement, storage, loading and unloading of goods and their timely dispatch.

According to Saini, the facilities would help industries save time and costs while improving overall industrial efficiency.

New opportunities for industries and youth

Saini said the project would provide local products with better access to major markets and could help the region emerge as an important economic centre in the coming years.

He urged entrepreneurs and industrialists from Haryana and across the country to participate in tenders being invited under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.

The Chief Minister said the logistics hub would create new opportunities for local youth, traders and entrepreneurs and strengthen Haryana’s role in the country’s economic growth.
