Gangster Bhim killed in encounter in Yamunanagar: Weapons, live cartridges and a bike recovered

Yamunanagar district police have achieved a major success in the anti-gangster campaign. Notorious gangster Bhim was killed in an encounter between the police  on Ratauli-Kheda road on Monday night. A reward of Rs 20,000 was announced on him, and he was wanted in 7-8 serious cases like attempt to murder, drug smuggling and illegal weapons.

According to Superintendent of Police Kamaldeep Goyal, the police had received information that Bhim was present on the Ratauli-Kheda road.

When the police tried to surround him, he started firing at the police. In retaliation, the police also opened fire, in which about 15 rounds were fired by the police and 8-9 rounds by Bhim. During this, a bullet hit the bulletproof jacket of the police, but no jawan was injured. Bhim was shot in the encounter and died on the spot.

The Superintendent of Police said that Bhim was originally a resident of Ayodhya, but recently he was living in Azad Nagar of Yamunanagar. A few days ago, he had fired at the house of businessman Bobby and textile merchant Ravi, which spread panic in the city. After the encounter, the forensic team collected evidence from the spot.

The police have recovered a weapon, live cartridges and a bike. SP Goyal said that this action gives a strong message to the criminals that the Yamunanagar Police is working on a zero-tolerance policy against crime. He said that such campaigns will be intensified in the coming days.
