Haryana: Hand Grenade found in skoda car near Shahabad Sugar Mill; STF Teams at spot

A hand grenade has been discovered inside a Skoda car parked near the sugar mill in Shahabad, triggering a state of alarm within the police department. The STF (Special Task Force) and the Bomb Disposal Squad have arrived at the scene to neutralize the hand grenade.

It is reported that two days ago, the STF apprehended Surya Pratap, a resident of Tangaur, and recovered a pistol from his possession. During his remand, he revealed that he also possessed a hand grenade, which he had stowed inside a Skoda car parked at his motor yard located on the Shahabad-Ladwa Road.

Acting swiftly upon this revelation, the STF rushed to the location and recovered the hand grenade. The Bomb Disposal Squad was immediately summoned, and the process to neutralize the device has since commenced.

Meanwhile, the accused, Surya Pratap, is currently being interrogated to determine the source of the grenade and his intended motive. The police are currently maintaining silence regarding this matter.
