Haryana Weather update: IMD Predicts Dry Weather and Light Drizzle

Chandigarh: The heat is steadily increasing in Haryana, with the state’s maximum temperature surpassing 31 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in the state will remain generally dry on February 27th, with occasional partly cloudy skies expected from February 28th. Light drizzle is possible at some locations.

North and northwesterly winds may cause a slight drop in night temperatures. According to the India Meteorological Department, the state’s highest maximum temperature was recorded at 31.2 degrees Celsius in Nuh, about 3.5 degrees above normal.

Hisar recorded a temperature of 30.8 degrees, Narnaul 30.5 degrees, and Bhiwani 30.0 degrees. Temperatures in many districts have already reached above 28 degrees, making the effects of heat already felt in the last week of February. The Meteorological Department says that due to northwesterly winds, night temperatures may drop slightly, leading to a slight coolness in the morning and evening, while the heat will persist during the day.

The maximum temperature increased by 0.4 degrees.

Maximum temperatures across the state continued to remain above normal. The average maximum temperature increased by about 0.4 degrees Celsius, while it remained around 3.5 degrees Celsius above normal. Nuh recorded the highest temperature of 31.2 degrees Celsius, the highest so far this season. Hisar recorded 30.8 degrees Celsius, Narnaul 30.5 degrees Celsius, and Bhiwani 30.0 degrees Celsius.

Rohtak recorded a high of 28.7 degrees Celsius, while Gurugram recorded 29.3 degrees Celsius. The temperature surpassing 30 degrees Celsius in the last week of February is considered a sign of an early summer.

Minimum temperatures reached above average

Minimum temperatures in Haryana remained above normal, although a slight drop is expected in the coming days. The average minimum temperature increased by about 0.4 degrees Celsius, standing 2.3 degrees above normal. The lowest minimum temperature in the state was 9.7 degrees Celsius recorded in Sarangthal, Sonipat district.

Hisar recorded a temperature of 10.9 degrees, Mahendragarh 10.4 degrees, and Bhiwani 12.5 degrees. Under the influence of northwesterly winds, night temperatures are expected to drop, leading to a slight chill in the morning.
