Haryana heat to rise 6°C in 7 days, Rohtak hottest

The weather in Haryana is currently cooler than usual, although the temperature is gradually rising. According to the Meteorological Department, today’s average maximum temperature in the state has increased by 0.8 degrees Celsius compared to yesterday, but it is still 2.8 degrees below normal. The highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded in Rohtak at 35.3 degrees Celsius.

Weather experts say that the weather in the state will remain dry for now, and there is no possibility of rain. Over the next three days, strong surface winds are expected to blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. This may gradually increase the effect of heat during the day, but the winds could also provide some relief.

According to the department, the maximum temperature may rise by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius over the next seven days. As a result, the effect of heat will be felt even more in the coming days. For now, farmers and the general public are advised to be prepared for this change in the weather.

The weather will remain dry

The current weather condition is influenced by the subtropical western jet stream, which is active over north-west India at an altitude of approximately 12.6 kilometers and a speed of about 110 knots. In addition, from April 15, a new and weak western disturbance is likely to become active in the western Himalayan region, the impact of which on Haryana will not be very significant.

The Meteorological Department has clarified that currently no weather-related warnings have been issued in the state and the weather will remain dry for the next few days.
