Haryana Government Transfers 3 IAS Officers; Nikhil Gajraj Named Transport DG, Mukul Kumar Gets SEWA Charge

Chandigarh: The Haryana government has issued orders for the transfer and new appointments of three senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers as part of a major administrative reshuffle. The orders, issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, have come into effect immediately.

Nikhil Gajraj, a 2008-batch IAS officer who has returned from central deputation, has been appointed as the Director General of State Transport, Haryana. He will take over the charge from Dhirendra Khadgata, a 2012-batch IAS officer.

Nikhil Gajraj Gets State Transport Charge

Nikhil Gajraj, an IAS officer of the 2008 batch, has been appointed as the Director General of State Transport, Haryana, following his return from central deputation.

He will replace Dhirendra Khadgata in the post.

Mukul Kumar Assigned SEWA Department

Mukul Kumar, a 2011-batch IAS officer, was earlier serving as Chief Administrator of the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP), Panchkula, and Managing Director of Gurugram Metro Rail Limited.

He has now been appointed as the Director of the Social Justice, Empowerment, SC & BC Welfare, and Antyodaya (SEWA) Department. He will also serve as Mission Director of the Chief Minister’s Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana.

In addition, Mukul Kumar will continue to hold the charge of Managing Director, Gurugram Metro Rail Limited, and will serve as Director and Special Secretary of the Hospitality Department.

Ajay Kumar Appointed HSVP Chief Administrator

Ajay Kumar, a 2013-batch IAS officer currently serving as Deputy Principal Secretary-II to the Chief Minister, has been appointed as the Chief Administrator of the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP), Panchkula.

He will also take charge as Managing Director of the Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation Limited.

Departments Asked to Issue LPC Within 7 Days

The Haryana government has also issued instructions to the Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) of the concerned departments to issue the Last Pay Certificate (LPC), leave salary details and pension contribution records of the transferred officers in the prescribed format within seven days of the officers relinquishing charge.

A copy of these documents is also required to be sent to the Chief Secretary’s office.
