Department alert during festive season: CM Flying Squad raids sweet shops in Kurukshetra

The fear of adulteration in sweets has increased during the festive season, and the administration has become active to prevent this. CM Flying Squad started raiding the establishments of sweet sellers early in the morning.

The team, led by SI Rajbir Singh, first raided a famous sweet shop in Pipli. It is being reported that a large quantity of adulterated and substandard sweets was recovered here. Currently, the team is engaged in the action, but this has created panic among other sweet sellers as well.

It should be noted that last year too, during a raid during the festive season, a large quantity of adulterated and substandard sweets was recovered in Dharmnagari. More than two quintals of sweets were destroyed. Even fake mawa was seized.
