Haryana Mall and Hospital firing case: Three criminals injured in Police encounter

In Yamunanagar, the police arrested the three criminals involved in the firing incidents at Varyam Singh Hospital and City Mall after an encounter on Sunday morning. Approximately 25 to 30 rounds were fired during the exchange between the police and the criminals. Two of the criminals sustained gunshot wounds to their legs in the retaliatory firing by the police, while the third accused was injured after falling from his motorcycle. All three have been admitted to the hospital for treatment, where they are currently receiving medical care.

According to the police, the three accused currently have no known criminal record. The police are interrogating them to determine who was behind the firing incidents and who sent them. According to reports, the owner of the hospital and a senior doctor in the district had received threats from a gangster on December 17th, demanding crores of rupees in extortion money. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the doctor contacted senior officials at the police headquarters directly. Following this, the police increased security at the hospital and set up a checkpoint.

After the incident, several police teams, including CIA-1 and CIA-2, launched a search operation and set up roadblocks in the district. Following the firing incidents late Saturday night, the police continued their search for the accused. Around 5 AM on Sunday, the police received information that the three accused involved in the firing were near Kansapur. Upon receiving the information, police teams cordoned off the area.

It is reported that when the police team approached the accused, they opened fire on the police after realizing they were surrounded. The police then retaliated. Approximately 25 to 30 rounds were fired from both sides. During the encounter, two criminals were injured by police gunfire, while the third accused was injured after falling from his motorcycle while trying to escape. The police then apprehended all three at the scene.

Police officials say that they are interrogating the accused to determine whether the firing incidents at the hospital and City Mall are related to extortion or if there is another motive. They are also investigating whether these accused have any connection to any criminal gang. Currently, the police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter, and it is expected that several important revelations related to this double shooting case may emerge after questioning.
