Haryana Manisha death case: Committee to meet CM Nayab Saini soon

A village council meeting was held on Saturday in Dhani Lakshman village regarding the Manisha death case. The villagers present at the meeting discussed the CBI’s investigation into Manisha’s death and expressed their anger over the lack of progress and the failure to reveal the truth.

A committee was formed on this occasion, which will soon meet with the Chief Minister to demand a full disclosure in the case. The committee comprises 11 members from Dhani Lakshman village, along with two representatives each from eight surrounding villages.

At the meeting, Manisha’s father, Sanjay, said that the CBI has been investigating his daughter’s death for the past four months. Despite receiving all the reports, the CBI has still not revealed the truth about Manisha’s death.

He added that CBI officials have only been giving assurances. It should be noted that the villagers had given the CBI an ultimatum to reveal the findings by January 30th. Following this, the village council meeting was convened on Saturday. This committee will now decide on the future course of action in this matter.
