New Collector Rates will come into effect starting today, Wednesday, across 14 tehsils and sub-tehsils in Haryana. The government has implemented higher increases in Collector Rates in areas where a significant volume of property transactions has taken place. Across 7.43 percent of the state’s total areas—specifically 11,947 distinct zones—Collector Rates have been hiked by up to 75 percent.
In Sector-28, Gurugram, the Collector Rate for residential property stood at ₹71,600 per square yard in 2024. Last year, this rate saw a 30 percent increase, rising to ₹93,080 per square yard. Now, following a further 45 percent hike, the value is set to reach ₹134,944 per square yard. Similarly, rates have increased in Bahadurgarh in areas such as Teacher Colony, Ranjit Colony, and Bhagwan Colony.
However, in certain rural areas, a proposed hike of 130 percent has been scaled down to 75 percent. In Jind, Collector Rates for commercial land in areas including Favvara Chowk, Apollo Road, and Defence Colony have been raised by up to 20 percent.
In Rewari, villages within the Dharuhera region—such as Alawalpur, Asadpur, Khatawali, Maheshwari, and Kapriwas—have witnessed rate increases ranging from 45 to 60 percent. In Sonipat, agricultural land has seen a high volume of buying and selling activity; consequently, rates in these specific areas have risen by 15 to 75 percent.
In Yamunanagar, commercial land rates along the stretch from Favvara Chowk to Kamani Chowk have increased by up to 75 percent, with prices rising from ₹90,800 per square yard to ₹158,900 per square yard.
Similarly, in Panipat, rates along the GT Road—specifically towards the Karnal side—have been hiked by approximately 60 to 75 percent. The most significant increase per square yard—amounting to ₹17,000—has been recorded along the Karnal Road. In Kurukshetra, the highest rate increases—up to 75 percent—have been implemented in Ismailabad.
Overall, rates in Karnal have been raised by up to 75 percent. Meanwhile, in Kaithal, the new rates have not yet been updated on the official portal. The rates for residential and commercial land in Ambala’s sectors have increased by up to 75 percent.
