Panchkula: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced the launch of a massive state-wide ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ (Service Pledge Campaign) during a press conference in Panchkula. The Chief Minister noted that October 7, 2026, marks the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance.
To commemorate this historic milestone, a special month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ will be organised in Haryana from September 17, the Prime Minister’s birthday, to October 17.
Describing PM Modi’s tenure as an inspiring chapter of service, good governance and nation-building, the Chief Minister stated that this 25-year journey symbolises India’s growing self-confidence. He remarked that prior to 2014, India was counted among the ‘Fragile Five’ economies, whereas today, it ranks among the world’s fastest-growing major economies.
Haryana Receives Over βΉ7 Lakh Crore
CM Saini stated that Haryana has been a karmabhumi (land of action) for Prime Minister Modi, and he holds a special affection for the state. Over the past 12 years, Haryana has received funds exceeding βΉ7 lakh crore through various central government schemes. The Prime Minister has visited Haryana 18 times during his tenure.
Every citizen of the state has benefited from initiatives ranging from hydrogen trains and infrastructure development to schemes like ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ and ‘Ladli Sakhi’.
Transformative Initiatives to Be Highlighted
The month-long campaign will highlight the government’s transformative initiatives and achievements in Haryana. Street plays and other public outreach activities will be used to communicate the initiatives and their impact among people across the state.
