Haryana: A speeding car collides with an auto-rickshaw in Hisar, driver killed

A speeding car rear-ended an auto-rickshaw near the Women’s Government College on the Hisar-Hansi highway. The auto-rickshaw driver was seriously injured in the accident.

His family members allege that they repeatedly called the emergency number 112 from the scene, but the police did not arrive. They then arranged for a private ambulance to take him to the district civil hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

According to reports, the deceased has been identified as Randhir (52). He was an auto-rickshaw driver. He was driving his auto-rickshaw from Barwala Chowk towards Mill Gate when the car struck his vehicle.

He was thrown from the auto-rickshaw and hit the divider, sustaining a severe head injury. He was then taken to the district civil hospital, where he was declared dead.
