Haryana State Olympic Games to be held at 24 venues in 10 districts, athletes across state to take part

The Haryana State Olympic Games 2025 will be held on a grand scale with the aim of promoting sporting talent in Haryana and providing them with a platform for national and Olympic-level preparation. This year, these sports competitions will be held at 24 venues in 10 districts of the state.

According to the schedule released by the Sports Department, handball, hockey, athletics, and table tennis competitions will be held in Gurugram. Netball, basketball, and wrestling players will compete in Sonipat.

Weightlifting, fencing, archery, and tennis events will be held in Faridabad, while exciting matches of kabaddi, judo, karate, and badminton will be held in Panchkula.

Yoga, cycling, and volleyball competitions will be held in Kurukshetra. Rohtak will host powerful boxing events, while Karnal will witness exciting football matches. Kayaking and canoeing events will be held in the capital, Chandigarh, and shooting and track cycling competitions will be held in Delhi.

The state government states that the purpose of these games is to provide better opportunities to Haryana’s athletes, strengthen the spirit of sportsmanship, and prepare young athletes for international competitions. Haryana, already considered a hub of sporting talent in the country, is poised to once again prove its sporting prowess through these State Olympic Games.
