The deceased have been identified as Parvesh and Himanshu, who were wanted in connection with the murder of Kapil, a gym operator in Haryana’s Hansi.

STF Operation Ends in Encounter

According to STF officials, the two allegedly opened fire on the police team after being intercepted, prompting retaliatory firing in which both were killed.

Police recovered firearms and ammunition from the accused. Both shooters were carrying a bounty of ₹1 lakh each, and several criminal cases, including murder and attempted murder, were registered against them.

The encounter comes weeks after gym operator Kapil was shot dead in Hansi. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang had allegedly claimed responsibility for the killing through a social media post, following which Haryana Police launched an intensive manhunt for the accused.

Investigations are also underway in multiple cases where the gang has allegedly claimed responsibility for attacks or issued threats through social media posts.
