Haryana Weather: Cold Nights, Rising Pollution, and Chances of Rain on November 3

Chandigarh: Haryana is experiencing a constant change in the weather. Due to morning and evening fog in most districts, temperatures are steadily dropping. Data shows that in the past 24 hours, Mahendragarh’s nights have been as cold as Shimla. The minimum temperature recorded here was 15.5 degrees. Pollution has risen sharply in four districts, with an AQI of 488 recorded in Bhiwani.

The Meteorological Department has stated that the weather is expected to remain volatile from October 30th to November 2nd. Light to moderate north and northwest winds will cause night temperatures to drop, while daytime maximum temperatures will increase.

Haryana will experience cold winds on November 1st. Morning temperatures are expected to hover around 14 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures could reach 24 degrees Celsius. The sky will be clear on this day, while the weather will change again on November 2nd. Cloudy skies are expected on this day. Temperatures will drop slightly, with the maximum temperature expected to be 23 degrees Celsius.

With the change in weather in Haryana, pollution has also increased rapidly in the state. Four districts have been recorded where the Air Quality Index (AQI) has reached the dangerous category. Among these, Bhiwani district recorded an AQI of 488, Charkhi Dadri 396, Faridabad 399, and Dhourera 376. Just 24 hours ago, pollution conditions in Panchkula had changed, with the AQI reaching 334.

Dr. Madan Khichad, Head of the Department of Meteorology, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, said that due to the partial effect of Western Disturbance in the state of Haryana, the weather will generally remain dry from October 30 to November 2.

Daytime temperatures are expected to rise slightly, while nighttime temperatures are expected to fall slightly. He said northerly and northwesterly winds are likely to return during this time, with light to moderate speeds.
