Haryana Heat Rises Early in March, Temperature Nears 35°C in Several Districts

Sirsa: The heat in Haryana has begun to show its intensity in early March. The state’s maximum temperature has reached close to 35 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures above 33 degrees Celsius were recorded in seven districts

Palwal recorded the highest temperature of 34.3°C. The mercury reached 33.5°C in Hisar, 33.5°C in Narnaul, 33.4°C in Mahendragarh, 33.6°C in Nuh, 34.2°C in Bhiwani, and some parts of the Gurugram region exceeded 33°C. The average maximum temperature was 6.1°C above normal, indicating a strong heatwave.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in the state will remain dry for 2-3 days. Occasional light clouds are possible, but rain is not expected. Daytime temperatures are expected to hover around 34-35 degrees. As the heat increases, people have been advised to protect themselves from the afternoon sun.

Light clouds will appear from today.

Dr. Chandrashekhar Dagar, Senior Scientist, Department of Agricultural Meteorology, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, said that the weather in Haryana is likely to remain generally dry but variable till March 8.

During this period, partly cloudy skies are expected in parts of the state from the night of March 4th to March 7th due to the partial influence of a western disturbance. Winds are expected to change occasionally, with light to moderate winds expected during this time. Daytime temperatures are expected to remain unchanged, and night temperatures are expected to increase slightly.
