The maximum temperature in Mahendragarh has reached the highest of 49.4 degrees. At the same time, it was recorded at 49.1 degrees in Jind and 49.0 degrees in Nuh. The temperature has decreased by 0.1 degrees, but it is still 6 degrees above normal. The temperature remained above 48 degrees in 15 cities of the country, out of which 10 cities are from Haryana.

Drizzle in some parts of Haryana on Wednesday has given relief to the people from the heat. According to the information, light rain has occurred in Rohtak, Sonipat, Kaithal, Hisar. Due to strong winds in Hisar, a tin shed fell from the roof, killing a young man who was passing by on a bike.

Now nights have also started getting hot

Along with the day’s mercury, nights have also started getting hot in many districts of the state. During 24 hours, the minimum night temperature in Narnaul has reached 33.1 degrees, which is 9.2 degrees more than normal. According to the Meteorological Department, this is the record temperature so far in the month of May.

Earlier on 23 May 2016, the night temperature in Hisar was recorded at 32.2 degrees. Apart from this, the minimum temperature in Palwal, Gurugram, Rohtak, Mewat has crossed 30 degrees.

6 deaths due to heat in Haryana so far

On Wednesday, the health of an elderly Jagdish (69) of village Bahrana, who was waiting for an auto in Rohtak, deteriorated due to heat. During this, he died while sitting on a chair. On the other hand, 2 days ago, a 70-year-old man died of dehydration in Hansi.

On 27 May, a young man named Pawan (24) in Bharat Nagar, Hisar, felt dizzy while descending the stairs in the afternoon. After vomiting, he was admitted to the hospital, where he died.

Similarly, on the 27th, the body of a 54-year-old man driving an e-rickshaw was found near the gate of Sector 35-A block in Rohtak. It is suspected that his death was also due to heat. On 27 May, one death occurred in Fatehabad. Today also, one person died due to heat in Fatehabad.
