Minor girl gangrape in Charkhi Dadri; 3 youths give intoxicants

In a complaint to the police, the 16-year-old girl said that she had gone to the forest area in the village to freshen up (defecate) at around 7 p.m. At the same time, she met three boys there. They raped her and fed her some intoxicants. Later, when she regained consciousness, she was in Charkhi Dadri Civil Hospital. In her statement to the police, the girl has accused them of gangraping her.

The girl was taken to Rohtak PGI, and based on her statement, the police have started further action by registering a case against three named people of the village under the relevant sections. At present, no accused has been arrested.

Bhadra DSP Bharat Bhushan said that a case has been registered against three named people under the gang rape and POCSO Act. At present, the accused have not been arrested. The case is being investigated. Further action will be taken based on whatever facts come to light during the investigation.
