A painful road accident has come to light in Narnaund of Hisar district of Haryana. A speeding roadways bus crushed a 19-year-old youth near Holy Field School on Jind Road. The youth died on the spot in the accident. On receiving information about the case, the police reached the spot and registered a case on the basis of the complaint and started investigation and the absconding driver is being searched.
According to the information, the deceased has been identified as Deepak of Ward No. 1 of Narnaund. Deepak was preparing for competitive examinations. He had come to meet his elder brother Vikram at around 9 am on Friday. According to Vikram, both the brothers were standing on the roadside and talking. Meanwhile, a roadways bus coming from Hansi suddenly cut in an attempt to overtake another bus. The bus hit Deepak directly.
The collision was so severe that Deepak fell far away. The driver did not make any attempt to save the youth and passed the bus over him. After the accident, the driver fled from the spot along with the bus. Passersby immediately rushed Deepak to Narnaund Civil Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
The police have sent the body to Hansi Civil Hospital for postmortem. The police is investigating the case by recording the statements of the family members. The search for the absconding driver is on.
