Faridabad: A 19-year-old youth died under suspicious circumstances after falling from a seven-story building in Sector-77 of Faridabad, Haryana.
Police say that, prima facie, it seems to be a case of death by falling from the building. On the other hand, the family is accusing the son of murder.
The family said that until the murder case is registered, they will neither do the post-mortem process nor take the body of the son.
Bijendra said that he is originally from the village of Janauli in Palwal. His son Saurav used to work at a clinic in Sector 12 HUDA Market, Faridabad. A girl named Sapna and a boy named Vivek also work in the same clinic. Last night, his son Saurav was present at the KLJ Society located in Sector 77 with a girl named Sapna and two boys named Vivek.
Saurav’s father, Bijendra, said that he received a call from Sapna at around 1.45 on the night that his son had died. After this, when he reached Faridabad from Palwal, he was told that Saurav had died after falling from the seventh floor. He says that there should have been many injury marks on Saurav’s body after falling from the seventh floor, but there were no injury marks on his body. There were only injury marks on his neck.
He said that, due to this, he suspects that Saurav has been murdered. In this, he suspects Sapna and the two youths staying with her. He demands from the police that a murder case be registered against all three. He alleges that instead of taking action, the police are pressuring him to change his statement.
Bijendra said that until the police register an FIR based on his statement, he will neither get his son’s post-mortem done nor take the body. He demands that an FIR of murder be registered against the three accused, and they should be arrested.
SHO Poonam of the BPTP police station in Faridabad said that the police have talked to Saurav’s family members. They have asked for a post-mortem of the deceased’s body, but the family is not ready for it at the moment. The family is adamant about the demand to file an FIR first. The police are investigating the matter.
