A 23-year-old girl died after slipping into a pond while going for a morning walk in Chandana village of Kaithal. As soon as the girl went to the pond, she slipped and fell into the pond and died. The incident happened on Thursday morning at around 5 am. According to the information, when the villagers took 23-year-old Bhateri Devi, a resident of the village, to the pond to bathe and give water to their animals, they saw the body of the girl in the water. The villagers immediately informed the police in this regard and informed the girl’s family about this. The family reached the spot and took out the body with the help of the villagers.
According to the villagers, the girl used to go to the pond for a walk every morning. On Thursday also, when she went for a morning walk, this incident happened. When the body of the girl was taken out, a crowd of villagers gathered at the spot. The villagers told that the depth of this pond has been increased some time ago. It is about 20 feet deep.
The villagers told that the girl was staying at home after doing ITI. Apart from her parents, her family also includes a brother and a sister. Titram police station in-charge Krishna Kumar said that he had received information in this regard. The police team reached the spot and took the girl’s body to the civil hospital for postmortem. The police is investigating the matter further.
