Fatehabad: The 3-and-a-half-year-old innocent girl who was a victim of brutality in the Tohana rural area of Fatehabad, Haryana, finally died in Rohtak PGI after 9 days. The girl was kidnapped from her house at midnight and raped by two youths known to her father. Early in the morning, the girl was found on the road, soaked in blood. Police have arrested both of the accused. This shameful incident happened on the night of June 29. Since then, the girl has been admitted to PGI Rohtak.
The girl’s parents had told her that they were originally from the Bahraich area of Uttar Pradesh. They had come to a village near Tohana two and a half months ago to work as farm labourers. They are staying here on the farm of a landlord. On Saturday night, June 29, three youths known to them had come to their house. They also work as labourers on the farms of nearby villages. They went back at night, and the family went to sleep.
The father said that he woke up at 3 a.m. and saw that the girl was not on her bed. After this, he woke up his wife and also informed the farm owner. Everyone started searching for the girl. The girl was found in a bloody condition on Jakhal Road at a short distance. The girl said that the youths had behaved brutally toward her.
After this, the family brought the girl to Tohana Civil Hospital in an ambulance at around 4-5 a.m. The police were also informed there. The girl’s condition was critical, and after primary treatment, the doctors referred her to PGI. The farm owner said that the accused work in fields like theirs. Once the accused had gone, when the family members went to sleep, they picked up the girl from behind and took her away.
SHO Devi Lal of Tohana Sadar police station told us that the victim’s side works in the fields to plant paddy. Three people named Mukesh, Satish, and Shambhu had come to their farmhouse. Where they had a party of liquor and meat, etc. Later, Shambhu left from there. The police said that later it was revealed that the other two had kidnapped the girl and done wrong things to her. A case was registered against both of them under the charges of rape, POCSO Act, and kidnapping, and they were arrested.
