3 car snatchers arrested in Rohtak, mobile phones and documents recovered

AVT staff in-charge Inspector Anesh Kumar said that on December 27, the police received information that a car snatching incident was carried out near Chhotu Ram Park in Sampla.

Rohtak: The AVT staff team of Rohtak Police has arrested three accused involved in the car snatching incident. The accused were produced in the court. The police is investigating the matter. AVT staff in-charge Inspector Anesh Kumar said that on December 27, the police received information that a car snatching incident was carried out near Chhotu Ram Park in Sampla.

On the basis of complaint, a case was registered at Sampla police station and an investigation was started immediately. Initial investigation revealed that Monu, a resident of Karela village of Jind, had parked his car at Amazon and CNX company in Gurugram. On December 28, Monu left Gurugram with his car. At around six in the morning, when Kanha started drinking tea at the kiosk built at the CNG pump, three youths came there.

The youths told Monu that they were local residents and they have to go to Sampla. He should drop them to Sampla for Rs 50 each. Monu made the three youths sit in the car. When they reached near Chhotu Ram Park, Sampla, the youths pushed him out of the car. Monu’s two mobile phones, personal documents, purse etc. were in the car. The youths fled from the spot in the car.

During the investigation of the case, ASI Anil of AVT staff arrested the accused involved in the incident, Sachin alias Bhola resident of village Asoda, Jhajjar, Jitendra alias Shishi resident of village Rohtak, Jhajjar and Jackie resident of village Rohad. A stolen car, two mobile phones, and personal documents have been recovered from the accused.
