Hansi: An unknown vehicle hit a 7-year-old child in Hansi. The child was waiting for a bus at the village bus stand with his parents to go to the village. Meanwhile, a speeding unknown vehicle hit the child. Giving information, Surendra, father of the deceased 7-year-old Puneet, a resident of village Jeeta Khedi, said that yesterday evening he, his wife Darshana and son Puneet left for Jeeta Kheda from Hansi.
After reaching the bus stand of Jeeta Khedithey were waiting for the bus to the village, when a speeding unknown vehicle came and hit Puneet. Puneet’s father told that Puneet was standing at a short distance from him when he was hit by an unknown vehicle. Surendra told that vehicle crushed his son killing him on the spot.
The villagers and his family took Puneet to the civil hospital of Hansi where his body was kept in the mortuary of Hansi Civil Hospital. Postmortem will be done today by the doctors. Puneet’s father told that after hitting Puneet, the unknown driver left the vehicle and fled from the spot.
The deceased child’s father registered a complaint in the Police station. Police have registered a case against the unknown driver and started an investigation.
