Policeman hits by tractor in Rohtak

Rohtak: A bike-riding policeman resident of village Bhaini Bhairo in Rohtak was hit by a tractor. The policeman died on the spot in this accident. The policeman was going home from his field. During this time, this accident happened. As soon as the information about the case was received, the police team reached the spot and started an investigation.

Sanjeev Kumar, a resident of village Bhaini Bhairo in Rohtak, complained about the accident at the Meham police station. In the complaint, he said that his father, Suresh Kumar, aged about 46, is working in the Haryana Police. He is currently posted as Head Constable, and his duty is in the Bhiwani Police Line. On Monday, he and his father had gone to their fields. Both were returning on separate motorcycles at night.

Sanjeev Kumar said that his father, Suresh Kumar, was going ahead on a motorcycle. Meanwhile, when they went on the village Bhaini Bhairo-Jatai road in the middle of the way, a tractor-trolley was going ahead of them.

He was driving the tractor at high speed and carelessly. When his father, Suresh Kumar, tried to overtake the tractor, the tractor driver suddenly cut, and the motorcycle collided with the motorcycle due to the side being pressed.

He said that his father’s motorcycle lost balance and fell on the road. The rear tyre of the tractor passed over his father’s head. His father died in this accident. The tractor driver fled, leaving his tractor on the spot. After this, a complaint was lodged with the police.

The investigating officer of the Meham police station, SI Harbaj, said that he had received information about the accident. After that, the police team started the investigation. Based on the complaint of the son of the deceased policeman, a case has been registered against the tractor driver. The matter is being investigated seriously.
