Palwal: In Palwal district where a family was beaten up and vandalized after protesting against molestation of girls. The Camp police station has registered a case against 20 people including four named accused under various sections of the IPC and has started action. Till the time of writing the news, all the accused were absconding.
According to Camp police station in-charge Dinesh Kumar, the victim, a resident of Rasulpur Road, has said in his complaint that his elder brother has died. Due to which his daughter also lives with him. The brother’s daughter and his daughter were going to the market for some personal work. At the same time, neighbors Kamal, Khushal and Rohit blocked their way on the way and started quarreling with them while misbehaving.
On getting information about this, he himself reached there and started explaining. But the accused youth started abusing and misbehaving with him also and left from there after threatening him. It is alleged that after some time, the above three youths came to his house and shop along with 15-20 other boys including a youth named Rahul. The accused were carrying sticks, rods, country-made pistols and axes in their hands. As soon as they arrived, they attacked him and his family members.
Before the family members could understand anything, the accused injured them. To save himself from the accused, the victim locked his family members in the room. After which the accused badly broke the goods of his house and shop and fled after threatening to kill him.
The information was given to the police on 112, on receiving the information, the police reached the spot. Four members of the family have been injured in the fight. On the complaint of the injured, the police has registered a case against 20 people including 4 named accused under various sections and started searching for the accused.
