Haryana: A case has come to light in Malpur village of Hathin subdivision in Palwal, Haryana, where two brothers blocked the way, beat up a person and looted Rs 5 lakh. On the complaint of the injured, the Utawad police station has registered a case against nine people including four named accused under various sections and started an investigation. Police say that their team is raiding to arrest the accused, the accused will be arrested soon.
According to Utawad police station in-charge Tek Singh, Akhtar, a resident of Malpur village, has said in his complaint that on May 30, the vigilance had seized his vehicle, whose challan had been issued. On June 1, he went to Palwal with his brother Jafar in his Thar vehicle to pay the challan. But when both the brothers were returning to their home from Palwal late in the evening, they reached near Habib’s house in the village.
During that time, Habib, his son Sharif, Soyib, Salauddin and four-five other people blocked the way of his car and attacked him. It is alleged that the accused injured both the brothers with sticks and damaged his car with bricks and stones. The victim alleges that the accused also looted five lakh rupees kept in his car. On protesting, the accused abused him and threatened to kill him. It is alleged that the accused are domineering and quarrelsome people. Strict legal action should be taken against them and they should be punished and their safety should be ensured. Police say that the matter is being investigated, the matter of robbery of money has not come to light yet in the investigation.
On his complaint, the police have started the action by registering a case against the accused under sections 323, 506, 341, 427 and 34 of IPC. The police investigating officer says that if any evidence related to the robbery of money is found, then the section of robbery will also be added.
