Haryana: A case of assault by villagers on the electricity department team which had gone to raid Guleri village of Hisar district has come to light.
The villagers also vandalized the vehicles of the employees of the electricity department. It is being told that there was an altercation with the electricity employees who entered a house.
After which the matter reached to a fight. After the information, the police reached the spot and brought all the employees out safely.
In Kuleri village under South Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation Sub Division Agroha, the electricity department team had received information about direct electricity being run by installing a latch in some houses in the village. After which the members of the department’s team went to raid the spot.
During this, when the electricity employees entered a house, the villagers scattered and there was an altercation between the electricity employees and the villagers. The dispute escalated so much that it even came to a fight.
On receiving information about the deteriorating atmosphere, Agroha police reached the spot and brought the electricity employees out safely from there. The villagers of Kuleri marched towards Agroha police station regarding the whole matter. At present, the police is investigating the matter.
