Palwal: A case of beating up two brothers and vandalizing their car due to election rivalry has come to light in Palwal, Haryana. It is alleged that both were beaten up because they voted for BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. Bahin police station has started the action by registering a case under various sections against about 30 persons including 22 named persons. No arrest has been made yet.
According to Bahin police station in-charge Renu Shekhawat, Mustafa, a resident of Kot village, has said in his complaint that on May 25 at around 5.40 pm, he was going to the village school with his brother Taufiq to cast his vote for the Lok Sabha. During this time, Taleem, Parvez, Dinu, Zafar, Shaukat, Jamshed, Irfan, Ali Mohammad, Imtiaz, Muklis, Mustafa, Wasim alias Chhanga, Nazim, Ejaz, Khurshid, Wasit, Islam, Rish alias Fulli, Sohil, Majid, Arbaaz, Mohammad Ali and 10-12 other people were standing at the school gate with sticks in their hands.
He said that the accused have a grudge against him because of the political party BJP and the accused stopped his car. They pulled him out of the car and started beating him with sticks. During this time, Irfan and Parvez opened the dashboard of his car and forcibly took out 20 thousand rupees kept in it. He says that the said people beat both the brothers badly and injured them and also damaged the car.
After this, both the brothers saved their lives by running away from the school gate. It is alleged that the accused said that they have been saved today, but if they meet us again, they will kill us. The Bahin police station says that they had given a complaint to the police on May 28. After investigation, a case has been registered against all the accused under various sections and the search has been started.
