Haryana: A farmer died of electric shock in Hansi, Hisar, Haryana. He had gone to run the electric motor to irrigate the crops in the field. The police recorded the statements of the family members and sent the body to the Civil Hospital of Hansi for post-mortem. A police investigation is ongoing.
Giving information, Ramesh, a resident of Singhwa Ragho, said that his younger brother Rajesh had gone to irrigate the field yesterday on Friday evening around 6 o’clock. When he did not return home till late night, he called him several times. But he did not pick up the phone. After this, when Rajesh’s family members went to see him in the field, Rajesh was found lying down. Rajesh was taken to the Civil Hospital of Hansi in an unconscious state.
The doctor declared Rajesh dead after examination. The doctor told the family that he died due to electric shock. After this, Rajesh’s brother Ramesh went to the motor and saw that as soon as Rajesh pressed the button to run the water motor, he got an electric shock and died. Rajesh’s body has been handed over to the family after post-mortem.
