Jhajjar: A farmer died a painful death in Jhajjar, Haryana. While ploughing the field, he came under the grip of a rotavator tied to the tractor. The accident happened due to the sheet tied to the head getting stuck in the machine. He died on the spot. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot, and after an investigation, the body was taken to the civil hospital.
According to the information, the deceased farmer has been identified as 44-year-old Gyan Chand, the son of Bhoop Singh, a resident of village Kahri, district Jhajjar. Farmer Gyan Chand had gone to his field on Friday with a tractor to do sowing work. When he was doing sowing work in the field, he had tied a sheet to his head. That sheet suddenly came into the rotavator machine. Due to this, the farmer fell to the ground, and the rotavator machine cut him.
Farmer Gyan Chand was married and used to raise his family by farming.
ASI Rajeev from Machhrauli police station in Jhajjar said that the police had received information that a farmer named Gyan Chand died after being hit by a rotavator machine while working in the field in village Kahri in Jhajjar. After recording the statement of his cousin, the police handed over the body to the family after conducting the post-mortem.
