Faridabad: A man killed his wife in Ashiana Flats, located in Sector 56 of Faridabad, Haryana. Before the incident, the accused husband fed her sweets with his own hands, and then killed her by strangulating her with her dupatta.
After committing the crime, the accused absconded. The police are searching for him. The police have kept the body of the deceased in the mortuary of Badshah Khan Civil Hospital in Faridabad for a postmortem.
Mubarak Khan lived with his wife Khairuna for years in flat number 560 of Ashiana Flats. It is being told that Mubarak Khan is originally from the village Jangwali in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. Both have four children. Among them are three daughters and a son.
Deceased Khairuna’s neighbor Seema has told her that Khairuna’s husband, Mubarak Khan, is a truck driver. He often used to beat his wife and children under the influence of alcohol. Her children used to hide in other people’s houses when they saw their own father. Seema said that many times we have sheltered her children at night and put them to sleep in our house.
According to Seema, she came to know about the incident at around 6:30 in the morning, when the milkman came to Khairuna’s house with milk.
He was knocking on Khairuna’s door, but no one came out. Then the milkman informed the people around him. Then the neighbours also knocked on the door, but still no sound came.
Seema told her that after this, when the door to Khairuna’s other room was knocked, the children opened the gate. Then the door of the other room was also opened, and it was seen that Khairuna was lying dead on the bed. A dupatta was tied around her neck. Seema says that Khairuna’s children told her that their father had brought sweets at night. It was around 12 o’clock, so no one ate that sweet.
The children have said that when her father forced her, mother Khairuna ate the sweets. After this, she started feeling sleepy. The children told them that the mother slept in her room. According to Seema, the children say that their father strangled their mother to death and fled.
In this case, Sector-58 police station SHO Krishna Kumar said that as soon as he got information about this incident in the morning, he reached the spot with the team. Forensic and crime branch teams were also called. At present, the accused is absconding, and teams have been formed to catch him.
