AAP Haryana holds protests, demands immediate release of Kejriwal

AAP has termed the arrest illegal and demanded immediate release of the CM Arvind Kejriwal.

Ambala: Workers of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held protests in different parts of Haryana. The protest was staged against the arrest of AAP convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

AAP workers congregated near the BJP’s Ambala City office. They staged a protest during which they raised slogans against the BJP-led government at the Centre. AAP has launched various protests targeting Centre government led by PM Modi.

AAP has termed the arrest illegal and demanded immediate release of the CM Arvind Kejriwal.

Apart from Ambala, the party also launched protests at different locations. Protests by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) were also held in different parts of Haryana, including Karnal, Rohtak and Faridabad.

AAP state unit president Sushil Gupta said the BJP government is scared of the good works done by the Kejriwal dispensation. Party has termed the arrest as politically motivated measure.

He said, “The dictatorial Modi government wants to destroy the Aam Aadmi Party but today the entire country stands firmly with honest leader Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party”.
