Charkhi Dadri: About 45-year-old Sukhwinder, a resident of Charkhi Dadri district in Hisar, Haryana, committed suicide by eating poisonous substances at his in-laws’ house. According to the family members, he was associated with the BJP party. Due to the BJP not getting a majority in the Lok Sabha elections, he started getting mentally disturbed, and on the night of June 28, he came to his in-laws’ house in Hisar and committed suicide.
Jugwinder, a resident of Nanda village in Tehsil Badhra of Charkhi Dadri, told me that his elder brother Sukhwinder used to work in transport in Bhiwani district and was associated with the BJP party for the last several years. Due to Modi not getting a full majority in the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, his elder brother Sukhwinder started getting mentally disturbed.
The complainant said that the family members tried to convince him a lot, but he always remained silent. The deceased Sukhwinder started getting mentally disturbed. Despite this, he remained sad.
The family members told them that Sukhwinder was married in Hisar. He had come to his in-laws’ house in Srinagar Colony on Mirzapur Road in Hisar. On June 28th, he consumed poison at night. His in-laws took him to the Civil Hospital in Hisar and the doctors declared him dead.
Currently, the police have gotten the post-mortem of the body done in the Civil Hospital of Hisar and handed it over to the family members. The police have taken action in this case under Section 174.
