ACB Haryana arrests Sub-Inspector Dinesh Kumar while taking bribe of Rs 35,000 in Jind

While investigating the complaint received, the ACB team hatched a plan to nab the accused and arrested him red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 35,000.

Jind: Late evening, the team of Haryana AntiCorruption Bureau arrested Sub Inspector Dinesh Kumar, working at Police Post Ludhana of Jind district. He was arrested red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 35 thousand. The accused had demanded this bribe in exchange for the smooth running of the shop run by the liquor seller, and he was caught red-handed while taking it.

Giving information about this, the government spokesperson said that the team of Anti Corruption Bureau received a complaint that he is a liquor seller and the accused sub-inspector is demanding a bribe of Rs 35 thousand every month in return for smoothly running his shop.

 While investigating the complaint received, the ACB team hatched a plan to nab the accused and arrested him red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 35,000. This entire action was taken with complete transparency in front of the witnesses.

A case has been registered against the accused under various sections in the Karnal Anti Corruption Bureau police station. In this case, investigation is being done by collecting all the necessary evidence.

The spokesperson of the Bureau appealed to the general public and said that if any officer or employee demands bribe in return for doing government work, then immediately inform about it on Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau’s toll free number – 1800-180-2022 and 1064.
