She was attacked in a land dispute by entering the house, and her mother-in-law and daughter-in-law were injured.

Hisar: On Friday, ADJ Gagandeep’s court sentenced two brothers to five years each in the case of attacking a woman in a land dispute in Mughalpura village of Haryana’s Hisar district eight years ago. A fine of Rs 30,000 each has been imposed on the guilty, Surendra, alias Shailendra, and his brother Krishna. The court convicted both brothers on July 16.

According to the prosecution in court, Lalita, a resident of Mughalpura, said that her husband Hardeep has two other brothers, Kuldeep and Sandeep, both of whom are elders. All three work as labourers in the city. They go to work in the morning and return home in the evening. On May 15, 2016, my aunt-in-law Sunita and my mother-in-law Chandron were sitting at home and talking to each other when suddenly Joginder, alias Bablu, came inside the house.

Her mother-in-law interrupted her and asked what the matter was, and she started saying loudly that she would give you a plot of land in the street. As soon as she said this, the former Sarpanch and others entered the house. They caught my mother-in-law, Chandra, and started dragging her out. When her maternal aunt, Sunita, tried to free her, Surendra and Krishna attacked her with a sickle. In this matter, Uklana police had registered a case on the statement of Lalita.
