To control the rising pollution in Haryana’s Rewari, the district administration has started taking strict measures. To strictly enforce the restrictions of GRAP 4, three flying squads have been formed by DC Abhishek Meena. All these three flying squads started working from Friday.
However, today, after receiving information about some factories operating on the city’s Nasiaji Road despite the ban, flying squad teams did reach the spot but no action was taken against the factory operators.
When media personnel reached the spot after receiving information about the arrival of the flying squad team, the factory was closed in a hurry. On Friday, AQI was recorded at 171 in Rewari city and 183 in the industrial area of Dharuhera. This level of AQI falls in the category of harmful.
