Khattar becomes the Energy and Urban Development Minister

Nadda becomes Health Minister; Rao gets Tourism Ministry; Bittu becomes Minority Minister and Gurjar becomes Cooperative Minister of State.

New Delhi: After the swearing-in of Narendra Modi’s government, the departments were distributed among the ministers on Monday. Haryana’s Karnal MP Manohar Lal Khattar has been made the Minister of Energy and Urban Development. Khattar will be accompanied by a Minister of State. Shripad Naik has been made the Minister of State.

Former MP from Ludhiana, Punjab Ravneet Bittu has been appointed as the Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs. In which he will be with the Cabinet Minister. JP Nadda has been given the Health Ministry.

Rao has been appointed as the Minister of State in the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation (Independent Charge), Ministry of Planning (Independent Charge) and Department of Culture. Krishan Pal Gurjar has been made the Minister of State in the Cooperative Department.

The BJP surprised everyone by making 3 out of 5 Lok Sabha MPs from Haryana ministers in the Modi 3.0 government. In the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP lost 5 out of 10 seats in the state and won only 5.

Despite this, Karnal MP Manohar Lal Khattar, Gurugram’s Rao Inderjit Singh and Faridabad MP Krishan Pal Gurjar were given a place in the Union Cabinet.

In such a situation, everyone wants to know what is the politics of BJP and Narendra Modi, that despite the party’s seats decreasing in Haryana, the number of ministers was increased from 2 to 3 compared to the last term. The biggest reason for this is the assembly elections to be held after 5 months.

By including 3 MPs in the Union Cabinet, BJP has tried to manage a majority figure of 46 in the 90-seat assembly by appeasing the Punjabi, Ahir and Gurjar communities of Haryana as well as GT Road and Ahirwal belt.
