Nominations were filed on Tuesday and Wednesday for the elections of the Bar Association in Ambala, Haryana. By Wednesday evening, 23 lawyers filed their nominations for various posts. The crowd of lawyers started gathering for nomination from 10 am itself. The nomination papers will be scrutinized tomorrow.
According to Returning Officer Vipinjit Singh, this time 23 lawyers have filed their nominations for different posts. All these nomination papers will be scrutinized on Thursday. Along with this, names will also be withdrawn.
Voting will be held on February 28. The results will also be declared in the evening on the same day of voting.
4 candidates for the post of Pradhan
Satpal Singh, Iqbal Singh, Sachin Kumar and Keshav Saroop Chopra filed nominations for the post of Pradhan. Arvind Goyal, Ashutosh Agarwal and Sandeep Sharma filed nominations for the post of Deputy Pradhan. Vikas Sharma, Deepak Kumar and Mukul Sharma filed nominations for the post of Secretary.
Gaurav Yadav, Anju Bala and Suresh Banwal filed nominations for the post of Joint Secretary. Praveen Kumar and Rakesh Kumar filed nominations for the post of treasurer. Apart from this, Praveen Rani, Kavita, Hari Ram, Deepak Kumar, Shubham, Ravi Kumar, Ankush Kumar and Mohammad Naeem have filed nominations for the post of member.
