Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij has taken immediate action and suspended the Executive Engineer (XEN) of the Electricity Corporation, Harish Goyal, in the case of wrongly cutting the electricity of the Phoenix Club of Ambala Cantonment.
Harish Goyal is currently posted in Jagadhri, Yamunanagar and he also has additional charge of the Narayangarh department.
Phoenix Club Chairman Shaili Khanna said that late on Monday night, Harish Goyal reached the club wearing shorts, which is a violation of the club rules. The club staff stopped him from entering, but Goyal reached the club bar through another route. When the staff asked him to go out, he started arguing.
After this, Goyal got the electricity of the club cut and taunted the club manager over the phone and said, How long will you run electricity on a generator. On Tuesday morning, Shaili Khanna informed Energy Minister Anil Vij about the matter. After this, Vij immediately issued instructions for the suspension of Harish Goyal.
