Tragic Collision on Kurukshetra Highway between Bus and Truck

Bus driver Mukesh died during treatment in the hospital. The police took possession of the body and started action.

Haryana: Haryana Roadways bus and truck collided at village Jhirbari bridge on NH-44 in Kurukshetra, Haryana. In this, bus driver Mukesh Kumar died during treatment at LNJP Hospital. 15-20 passengers traveling in the bus also suffered injuries in the accident. He is also undergoing treatment in the hospital. The incident is said to have happened at 5 in the morning.

According to the police, the Gurugram depot bus was going from Gurugram to Chandigarh. As soon as the bus started climbing the bridge near Jhirbadi village at around 5 in the morning, it collided with the truck moving ahead. As soon as the truck hit the bus, it lost control and started falling down from the bridge, but was saved from falling under the railing.

15-20 passengers including driver Mukesh Kumar were seriously injured in the accident. After receiving the information, the Highway and Dial-112 police team reached the spot and took the injured out of the bus and took them to LNJP Hospital.


Bus driver Mukesh died during treatment in the hospital. The police took possession of the body and started action. Police are recording the statements of the bus operator and passengers. The passengers injured in the accident have been discharged after first aid. Currently 5-6 people are undergoing treatment in the hospital. The police is investigating the matter.
