Auto market closed in Hisar in protest of ransom calls to traders, demand arms licenses

The traders had given an ultimatum of 72 hours to the administration to trace the cases of ransom calls.

Hisar: On Friday, in Haryana’s Hisar, angry traders decided to keep the market closed for the whole day after cases of demanding ransom and death threats were reported. Recently cases of ransom from traders were reported. From the city’s auto market to the grain market, everything remained closed today.

The traders had given an ultimatum of 72 hours to the administration to trace the cases of ransom calls. After which, under the leadership of trader leader Bajrang Das Garg, the traders staged a 4-hour sit-in in the auto market.

Bajrang Das Garg announced in the entire market and sought cooperation from the traders. Garg said that until the government takes a firm action against the criminals, it is difficult to put a curb on them. A big decision will be taken on Sunday and traders will be appealed to close Haryana in protest.

Mahindra showroom owner Sanjay Gupta reached the protest in the auto market with his 5 personal security guards. Apart from this, Bhim Auto Mobile operator also reached for security. At the same time, trader leader Bajrang Das Garg has also been given police protection. A fury march was taken out in the auto market and other traders were also called upon to reach the protest in maximum numbers.
