Bhiwani: In Bawani Khera of Bhiwani district, an illegal colony was built up to DPC level by cutting the colony without permission from the department. Due to which the district town planner complained to the higher authorities, including the police. The police station in-charge said that the case has been registered and an arrest will be made.
A person built a legal colony up to the DPC level on agricultural land located on Pur Road in Bawani Khera, violating Section 7(1) of the Haryana Urban Area Development and Regulation Act 1975 and the rules of farming under it. Bhiwani District Town Planner complained about this to the police and the concerned officials.
It was told in the complaint that the land owner has to obtain a license from the competent authority before building a colony within the notified urban area. Section 7(1) of the 1975 Act prohibits subdivision of land to build a colony. But the landowner Shriram has deliberately violated the provisions of the 1975 Act and the rules made under it without taking permission from the department.
In this regard, police station in-charge Satish Kumar said that according to the complaint, Shriram has done the work of cutting the colony without permission. Under which a case has been registered, arrest will be made soon.
