Tigdana village’s Sarpanch Surendra Dahiya, BDC Chairman Sitaram Sharma, Councilor Krishna, and others said that there has been a problem with drinking water in their village for a long time. Many times, they have demanded a solution to this problem from public representatives and officials. But despite this, the government and administration are not paying any attention to their basic facilities.
On Monday, the anger of the villagers of Tigdana village burst out, as they were troubled by the problem of drinking water shortage. In anger, they locked the old Jal Ghar of Tigdana village and protested. Many times the villagers have requested the administration to solve their water problem. Due to this, they raised slogans against the administration.
On the assurance of Sadar SHO, the villagers released the officers who were held hostage. Sarpanch Surendra told that the villagers of Tigdana village have been demanding for a long time to connect the drinking water line from the Ningana feeder to the old water tank and repair all the dilapidated tanks of the old water tank.
But the officials are not paying any attention to their demands. He said that if the drinking water line is connected from the Ningana feeder to the old water tank, then the drinking water problem in Tigdana village will be solved.
Sub-divisional Engineer of the Public Health and Engineering Department Satish Kumar said that the villagers were demanding to start the net channel. Their demand was accepted, yet the lock was put in without any reason. The lock was opened after calling the police. The demand of the villagers has been sent to the higher authorities.
