Sonipat: The police team Sonipat has achieved a big success. let us tell you that Cyber team of Sonipat Police Station has arrested 22 accused in five cases in the month of March. From all five accused, an amount of more than Rs 1 lakh 42 thousand have been recovered.
Apart from cash, police also recovered, from all the accused 91 mobile phones, 74 SIM cards, 371 ATM cards, 233 checkbooks, 45 passbooks, eight PAN cards, 12 Aadhar cards, five laptops, one printer, 24 UPI scanners, 3 POS machines and 9 WIFI routers from the accused. The police team took the accused on police remand on the orders of the court and interrogated them thoroughly.
According to the data received, a total of 9,027 complaints and about 350 cases are registered against the accused across India.
Fraudsters mostly send fake links on WhatsApp in the name of online trading, investment, stock exchange, etc. People generally fall for such deceptive messages and become victims of cyber fraud.
