Panipat: A pickup vehicle and a motorcycle collided head-on near village Nara under police station Madlauda in the Panipat district. The motorcyclist died on the spot. On receiving information from passersby, the police reached the spot, called the ambulance, and the deceased was taken to Panipat Civil Hospital. The police have registered a case.
According to the case, passersby said that near village Nara in Panipat, a pickup vehicle was coming at a high speed from Panipat. A motorcyclist was going towards Panipat from Safidon. As soon as the pickup reached near village Nara, the pickup hit the motorcyclist fiercely. The motorcyclist fell on the road. The pickup vehicle also stopped. Passersby tried to lift the motorcyclist to help, but he could not get up.
On searching, he was identified as a resident of the village Birthe Bahari police station Rajound district Kaithal, whose age was found to be 34 years. On receiving information, the mother of the deceased reached the spot with the family and told that the name of the deceased is Jagdeep. Jagdeep has two small children. He used to work as a laborer in Saudapur, Panipat.
Jagdeep died on the spot in the accident. The police took him to Panipat Civil Hospital. On the statement of his mother, Madlauda police station registered a case against the driver.
