There will be a mock drill today in Ambala under Operation Shield. Along with this, there will also be a blackout. Its purpose is to review the administrative preparations in an emergency.
In this regard, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Brahmjit Singh said that he has issued guidelines for this after holding a meeting with the officials on Friday.
He said that today, training and mock drill, and siren sounding activities will be done under Operation Shield. During the training, the instructions that are to be followed to deal with any disaster will be followed.
Through this training, the necessary work related to rescue during disasters is to be done. After this, there will be a blackout from 8 pm to 8:10 pm.
Additional Deputy Commissioner said that in the Police Line and Sports Complex Cantonment, training will be given to deal with any disaster by the SDRF team, Home Guard, Fire Department and Health Department and Civil Defense team at 5 pm today.
