A major accident took place during work at an international AC company in Gurugram. During checking, there was an explosion in the outdoor compressor installed. A young electrician died in this accident.
As soon as the blast occurred, the people working nearby panicked, and there was a stampede like situation. The injured employee was immediately taken to Medanta Hospital, but the doctors declared him dead.
Kherki Daula police station has taken the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. The relatives of the deceased have accused the company of negligence and demanded a fair investigation of the case.
In a complaint to the police, Radheshyam, a resident of Shahpur Sarkandadeeh village in Sultanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, said that his younger brother Dhanshyam (age 28 years) was working in Carrier Airconditioning Refrigeration Company for the last three years.
A call came from the company in the evening that his brother had died in an accident. When he asked his colleagues, they told him that the incident took place at 4:30 pm when Ghanshyam was checking the compressor. During this time, the compressor exploded.
Radheshyam alleged that Ghanshyam had warned the company management several times about the poor condition of the equipment and negligence in safety standards, but his complaints were ignored. His brother and other employees repeatedly informed the management about the safety lapses, but no action was taken. Their negligence took my brother’s life today.
