The administration has taken major action against illegal colonies in the Samalkha area of Panipat. On the instructions of DTP Sunil Antil, the team of District Town Planners took action in the presence ofthe Duty Magistrate.
Under the leadership of JE Anil Lakra, Kutcha Roads foundation and DPC were demolished with JCB in illegal colonies built on Narayana Road and Manana Road. The heavy police force was deployed during the action.
The District Town Planner said that 57 DPCs, precast boundary walls, and boundary walls of a structure were demolished in 6 unauthorized colonies in the revenue estates of Manana, Samalkha, Chulkan,a and Kiwana. Along with this, the road network spread over 25 acres of area was also demolished.
Assistant Town Planner Ashok said that despite repeated warnings, people were doing as they pleased. DTP Sunil Antil warned people not to get lured by property dealers in the name of cheap plots. He said that before buying a house, definitely get information from the District Planner’s office.
The administration has warned that legal action will be taken against those who buy plots in illegal colonies. There is a provision of fine up to 50 thousand rupees and punishment up to 3 years.
